A return to balance

Wellness isn’t something we escape to — it’s something we return to.

For me, that return began in the kitchen, surrounded by the rhythm of cooking and the understanding that nourishment shapes how we feel. Over time, that connection expanded far beyond food.

True balance comes from tending to the whole self — moving the body with care, nourishing it well, and creating small rituals that bring us back into alignment.

This philosophy is the foundation of withmimi.

My story

After nearly a decade in the corporate world, I saw how easily people lose that connection.

Long hours, constant deadlines, and prolonged sitting quietly take their toll — on the body, on energy, and on mental clarity.

Over time I realised that many of the problems people experience daily — tension, fatigue, burnout — aren’t simply about stress. They’re about disconnection from how the body moves, fuels and recovers.

withmimi was born from the desire to help people rebuild that relationship with their body, even within demanding modern lives.

“Within you there is a stillness and a sanctuary to which you can retreat at any time.” — Hermann Hesse

Training & foundations

I am a Yoga Alliance certified yoga instructor, trained in Rishikesh, India, the birthplace of yoga.

My training includes:

• 200 hours in Ashtanga Yoga
• 50 hours in Aerial Yoga
• study in breathwork (pranayama)
alignment and functional anatomy

This foundation allows me to guide people through movement in a way that honours traditional yoga while incorporating modern understanding of the body.

My approach

My work integrates three foundations of wellbeing:

  • Restoring how the body moves through strength, mobility and alignment.

  • Supporting energy and recovery through simple, whole-food nourishment.

  • Using breathwork and restorative practices to reduce stress and build resilience.

Together, these create a sustainable approach to wellbeing that supports both physical health and everyday performance.

The heart of the work

We all move through seasons of life that demand strength before we learn softness.

For me, the rituals of movement, nourishment and presence became the blueprint for rebuilding balance.

At the heart of my work is a simple belief:

When you invest in your wellbeing, you strengthen the way you show up in the world.
